When is Small Sign Up the best option for me?

Small Sign Up works best when you have small, similar, and self-contained Sign Ups to manage on a daily basis.

The Dashboard page lets visitors and team members easily browse all active sign ups, with minimal friction between landing on the Dashboard and volunteering for a Sign Up with a single click.

There are a few cases where Small Sign Up is probably NOT the best solution for you. If you need...

  • Only one sign up
  • A long list of volunteers per sign up
  • Completely different data and fields for each sign up

... Then you may see better mileage from other tools.

The Professional Plan adds multiple Dashboards per team. However, ultimately, the Small Sign Up dashboard and configuration workflow saves the most time when you have small, similar, and self-contained sign ups.

How many people can access my sign up?

If you make your dashboard Public, an unlimited number of people can access your dashboard and sign up for any events or entries you choose to display. It is Public!

For a Private dashboard, the default visibility is limited to members of the Team only. You also have an option to create a shareable link to a Private dashboard, which allows anyone with the link to access your dashboard and sign up for entries without requiring a login.

Can I use Small Sign Up to collect payments for my business?

No. To keep the core sign up experience as small as possible, we are not able to collect payment for sign ups at this time (for example: no adding a fee to allow someone to sign up for your event).

How does the One-Click Sign Up Work?

When a visitor is logged in, Small Sign Up immediately links the visitor's logistical information (name, email, phone) to their selected slot on a single click. The visitor can also choose to remove their sign up as needed, too.

For visitors who are not yet logged in, Small Sign Up presents a prompt to submit their logistical information when signing up.
